Britney Caruso, OD, FAAO, FMNM, ABAAHP, was honored for her innovative, holistic and tech-savvy approach to eyecare as a Best Practices winner in 2017. But CooperVision’s Best Practices judges aren’t the only ones to take note of Dr. Caruso’s success. In their recent story, “Why Stop at One?”, Women in Optometry featured Dr. Caruso as a model of success for holding multiple corporate leases.
“I knew it [her second lease location] would grow. I started doing everything I could: sending handwritten thank-you notes to patients and anyone who referred a patient and introducing myself to people in the community,” she said in the WO article, which sought to spotlight the tremendous success ODs can achieve with multiple corporate lease locations.
In addition to the personal touch of handwritten notes, Caruso Eye Care also serves as an example of the importance of communication with patients across multiple platforms. Her practice has a strong presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn, using social media to keep patients informed and raise awareness about the practice across the greater community.
