CooperVision Strengthens Educational Partnerships at Annual Meeting

CooperVision brought together 30 distinguished contact lens educators from different schools & colleges of optometry across the Americas for their annual 2025 Educators’ Meeting, held on February 7 – 9 in Gilbert, Arizona.

This exclusive gathering connects educators from prestigious institutions throughout the United States, Canada, and Latin America every year, demonstrating CooperVision's commitment to advancing education and innovation. The carefully curated event showcased the company's state-of-the-art facilities and highlighted their pioneering approach to technology.

Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about CooperVision’s latest advancements in soft, specialty, and myopia management contact lenses, its commitment to quality manufacturing and sustainability, as well as its unwavering support for programs for students and academic institutions. The agenda included a tour of the Paragon Vision Sciences Headquarters.

Members from CooperVision’s Professional Affairs team moderated a series of educational sessions. Topics included the future of myopia management and a multifocal contact lens fitting experience for educators with the recently launched clariti® 1 day 3 Add design. In addition, attendees had the chance to share best practices on how to educate students about specialty lenses in an academic setting to build confidence, and how to communicate about myopia management to both patients and parents.

“Ongoing collaboration and knowledge sharing is vital to educate and inspire new ideas that can be brought back to the classroom that will help prepare the next generation of eye care professionals to become the leaders of tomorrow,” said Dr. Michele Andrews, VP of Professional Affairs and Marketing. “By bringing together diverse perspectives from across the Americas, we're creating a unique platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration.”

These sessions fostered meaningful dialogue and knowledge sharing between industry experts and educational leaders, plus provided an additional learning opportunity about the cutting-edge technology behind CooperVision’s broad portfolio of lenses.*1
