How the Program Works
While in clinic, optometry students and residents are encouraged to support a deserving patient from their community through this program, fit them with CooperVision® contact lenses, and provide appropriate follow-up care. Each student or resident is allocated one complimentary annual supply of contact lenses from CooperVision for this purpose. CooperVision imposes no patient eligibility requirements; the school is responsible for determining patient eligibility.

Professional Fees
VSP Vision™ Eyes of Hope® has partnered with CooperVision to cover professional fees for a limited number of patients annually. Please contact your VSP Vision relationship manager for details.
Lenses can be ordered by sending an e-mail to coopervisionorders@coopervision.com with the subject line ‘GBP-[school name].’ It is important to order all Give Brightly™ lenses through coopervisionorders@coopervision.com in order to avoid being invoiced for the lenses.
Program Dates
The program is open year-round. Each student is allowed to select one patient during their third and fourth year of optometry school. Optometry residents can select one patient during their residency.
